Ever wondered what it’s like to work at V-TUF in the Purchasing and Supply Chain department, or want to get to know a bit more about the team you deal with on a daily basis?
Daniel Buchner, our Supply Chain Master, gives us a little insight into what he gets up to!
Tell us a little about your role
My role at V-TUF is focused on making sure our customers have the right products when they need them, to the correct quality standards and for the best value possible. I work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to bring real solutions to the end user which save and improve lives.
What’s your favourite thing about V-TUF?
It is such an exciting brand with an inspiring mission to save and improve lives through clean innovation. That mission really helps me and the other members of the team to feel connected and inspired as it means we spend every minute of our day making sure this world is a cleaner and safer place to work and live in.
What’s it like being a Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager at V-TUF?
It is a challenge ensuring that we have enough stock to meet the rising demand for V-TUF products, but it is a good challenge! Keeping up with the pace of new technology for both our dust extraction and pressure washer ranges and accessories is one of my favourite tasks.
Tell us a random interesting fact about yourself.
I love BOEREWORS! (Check it out online, honestly the most delicious thing).
And your most memorable moment during your career so far with V-TUF?
Being a part of the team and overseeing the safe arrival of over 2000 V-TUF MINI’s to one of our larger clients. Such a proud moment for us.
What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work?
I like to stay active! During the summer Swimming is my favourite activity and during the winter I really enjoy long country walks to help clear away some of the cobwebs.
