Ever wondered what it’s like to work at V-TUF in the Business Development team, or to get to know a bit more about the team you deal with on a daily basis?
Mike Neild, our rock-star Business Development Manager, gives us a little insight into what he gets up to!
Tell us a little about your role
My role revolves around the development and market presence of the V-TUF range in to retail markets. Building great relationships and networking with customers and suppliers to move forward, we have made some great friends along the way and they are so beneficial to expanding both the range and our customers.
What’s your favourite thing about V-TUF?
Without doubt the nicest company I have ever worked for. They are both ambitious and tenacious in what they want to achieve, but they are also human whilst wanting to achieve all of this. It’s an exciting time to be part of Fenco Group Limited and to work in developing the community around the V-TUF brand.
What’s it like being a Business Development Manager at V-TUF?
It’s like being a politician. I have to on a daily basis paint that the glass is half full, as well as taking orders and developing customer needs which is what gives me a buzz. I also have to deal with the now turbulent world of retail and all that the internet throws at us. It’s a daily battle but one which as a team we are managing very well.
Tell us a random interesting fact about yourself
I was the drummer in Dr and The Medics, not that anyone remembers us

And your most memorable moment during your career so far with V-TUF?
Well in the last 3 months I can’t say that I have a truly stand out memorable moment, but being part of this great team has a been an absolute pleasure so far.
What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work?
Coach kids rugby……both my boys play and are great players. After 30 years of playing I think both of my boys will out shine any of my achievements and they already are, with my eldest son being selected for the England development squad already….. fingers crossed, he may just go all the way. And fingers crossed for his little brother too!
