Stephen Buchner, our Relationship Development Pro, gives us a little insight into what he gets up to!
Tell us a little about your role
My role revolves around building long term relationships with our customers and making sure that our internal strategy for healthy & sustainable growth is shared with those customers. We want to make sure that every business and consumer is on the same page and believes in the mission we are striving to achieve.
What’s your favourite thing about V-TUF?
My role gives me the opportunity to connect with people and projects where an advancement of technology and the status quo are required, this makes the ideas side of things really interesting! We also have to make sure that our solutions are affordable for both the larger retailers and our trades men and women.
What’s it like being a Client Account Director at V-TUF?
It is a demanding role, in the best of ways, reaching out to our clients and making sure I stay up to date on what’s going on in their world is really enjoyable and when I know we’ve delivered truly to notch service it is the most rewarding part of my day.
There is great support available in this role from all of the key areas within the V-TUF team, that’s what gives me the scope to achieve the task and make the most of the opportunity at hand.
Tell us a random interesting fact about yourself.
At the age of five I took great delight in wearing my dad’s size 10 wellingtons, I felt invincible!
And your most memorable moment during your career so far with V-TUF?
The day we decided to interact direct with those who use our equipment and really getting involved in the environments where our equipment can make a difference in someone’s life.
What’s your favourite thing to do outside of work?
I have a wonderful family and am lucky to be able to enjoy such a good family life.
